चापापहारे भुजवेगपङ्के
शरोर्मिमाले सुमहाहवौघे।
न रामपातालमुखेऽतिघोरे

| हे दैत्यराज! श्री रामजी पाताल लोक में फैला हुआ समुद्र हैं, धनुष उस समुद्र के भीतर रहने वाला मगरमच्छ है, भुजाओं का बल कीचड़ है, बाण लहरें हैं और महायुद्ध उसका अथाह जल है। उस अत्यंत भयानक मुख अर्थात् महान् अग्नि में आपका कूदना बिलकुल भी उचित नहीं है॥ 48॥ |

Shri Ram is an ocean that is spread across the netherworld, the bow is the crocodile living inside that ocean, the force of the arms is the mud, the arrows are the waves and the great war is its unfathomable waters.
