त्वया राक्षसशार्दूल को न नन्दति नन्दित:॥ ४२॥

'निश्चरशिरोमणे! वह तुम्हारा शत्रु कौन है, जो मित्र के वेश में आकर तुम्हें सीता का हरण करने की सलाह दे रहा है? वह कौन है, जो तुमसे सुख और सम्मान पाकर भी प्रसन्न नहीं है, और इसलिए तुम्हारा अनिष्ट करना चाहता है?॥ 42॥
'Nishcharashiromane! Who is that enemy of yours in the guise of a friend, who has advised you to abduct Sita? Who is that man, who is not happy even after receiving happiness and respect from you, and hence wants to harm you?॥ 42॥
