आरक्षो मे हतस्तात रामेणाक्लिष्टकारिणा।
जनस्थानमवध्यं तत् सर्वं युधि निपातितम्॥ ४०॥
अनुवाद
'पिताजी! महान पराक्रम दिखाने वाले भगवान राम ने अनायास ही मेरे राज्य की सीमा के रक्षक खर-दूषण आदि को मार डाला है। तथा युद्ध में उन्होंने उस स्थान के समस्त राक्षसों का भी वध कर दिया है, जो अलंघ्य माना जाता था॥ 40॥
'Father! Lord Rama, who displayed great valour without any effort, has killed the protectors of the borders of my kingdom, Khar-Dushana and others. And in the war, he has also killed all the demons of the place which was considered inviolable.॥ 40॥
