धनुर्विद्या का अभ्यास करके सारथि धनुष की डोरी घुमाता हुआ तथा नाना प्रकार के अस्त्र-शस्त्रों का प्रदर्शन करता हुआ खर समरांगण के चारों ओर घूमने लगा और नाना प्रकार के युद्ध-कौशल दिखाने लगा॥5॥
With the practice of archery, the charioteer, swinging his bowstring and displaying various types of weapons, started roaming around the Khar Samarangana, showing various combat maneuvers. 5॥
