फल-मूल ही उनका आहार हैं। वे संयमी, तपस्वी और ब्रह्मचारी हैं। दोनों राजा दशरथ के पुत्र और भाई हैं। उनके नाम राम और लक्ष्मण हैं॥15॥
‘Fruits and roots are their food. They are self-controlled, ascetics and celibates. Both are sons of King Dasharath and brothers. Their names are Ram and Lakshman.॥ 15॥
