जराजर्जरितै: पत्रै: शीर्णकेसरकर्णिकै:।
नालशेषा हिमध्वस्ता न भान्ति कमलाकरा:॥ २६॥
अनुवाद
जो कमल के गुच्छे वृद्धावस्था के कारण जीर्ण हो गए हैं, जिनके बाह्यदल और पुंकेसर जीर्ण हो गए हैं, जो पाले के कारण गल गए हैं, केवल उनके तने ही शेष रह गए हैं, इसलिए उनकी शोभा नष्ट हो गई है॥ 26॥
‘The clusters of lotuses which have become worn out due to ageing, whose sepals and stamens have become worn out, have melted due to frost. Only their stems are left. That is why their beauty has been destroyed.॥ 26॥
