मार्गं निरोद्धुं सततं भास्करस्याचलोत्तम:।
संदेशं पालयंस्तस्य विन्ध्यशैलो न वर्धते॥ ८५॥
अनुवाद
एक बार सबसे बड़ा पर्वत विन्ध्य सूर्य का मार्ग रोकने के लिए उठा, किन्तु महर्षि अगस्त्य के आदेश पर वह विनम्र हो गया। तब से लेकर आज तक उनकी आज्ञा का पालन करते हुए वह कभी आगे नहीं बढ़ा।
‘Once the greatest mountain Vindhya rose to block the path of the Sun, but became humble at the behest of Maharishi Agastya. Since then till today, following his orders, it has never advanced.
