वहाँ जाते हुए श्रीराम ने सैकड़ों जंगली वृक्ष देखे, जैसे नीवार, कटहल, साखू, अशोक, तिनिश, चिरबिल्व, महुआ, बेल, तेंदू आदि, जो फूलों से लदे हुए थे और लताओं से घिरे हुए अत्यंत सुंदर लग रहे थे। इनमें से कई वृक्षों को हाथियों ने अपनी सूँड़ से तोड़कर कुचल दिया था और कई वृक्षों पर बैठे बंदर उनकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। सैकड़ों मदमस्त पक्षी उनकी शाखाओं पर चहचहा रहे थे।
On the way there, Shri Ram saw hundreds of wild trees like Neewar (Water Lily), Jackfruit, Sakhu, Ashoka, Tinish, Chiribilva, Mahua, Bel, Tendu and many more, which were full of flowers and were looking very beautiful surrounded by blooming creepers. Many of these trees were broken and crushed by elephants with their trunks and monkeys sitting on many trees were enhancing their beauty. Hundreds of intoxicated birds were chirping on their branches.
