तत्राकरोन्महायुद्धं राजा दशरथस्तदा।
असुरैश्च महाबाहु: शस्त्रैश्च शकलीकृत:॥ १५॥

उन दिनों महाबाहु राजा दशरथ ने भी वहाँ राक्षसों के साथ बड़ा भारी युद्ध किया था। उस युद्ध में राक्षसों ने अपने अस्त्रों से उनके शरीर को क्षत-विक्षत कर दिया था॥15॥
‘In those days the mighty-armed King Dasharath also fought a huge battle with the demons there. In that battle the demons crippled his body with their weapons.॥ 15॥
