रास्ते में बने वे विश्राम-स्थल इंद्रपुरी के समान प्रतीत होते थे। उनके चारों ओर खाइयाँ खोदी गई थीं और धूल-मिट्टी के ऊँचे-ऊँचे ढेर लगा दिए गए थे। शिविरों के भीतर नीलमणि की मूर्तियाँ सजाई गई थीं। गलियाँ और सड़कें उनकी शोभा बढ़ा रही थीं। राजभवनों और मंदिरों वाले वे शिविर चूने की दीवारों से घिरे हुए थे। सभी विश्राम-स्थलों को झंडियों से सजाया गया था। हर जगह बड़ी-बड़ी सड़कें सुंदर ढंग से बनाई गई थीं। कबूतरों के घोंसलों और ऊँचे तथा उत्कृष्ट विमानों के कारण वे सभी शिविर अत्यंत सुंदर लग रहे थे।
Those resting places built on the way looked like Indrapuri. Trenches were dug around them, and high heaps of dust and soil were piled up. Statues made of sapphire were decorated inside the camps. Alleys and roads added to their beauty. Those camps with royal houses and temples were surrounded by lime-plastered walls. All the resting places were decorated with flags. Everywhere, large roads were beautifully constructed. All those camps were looking very beautiful because of the pigeons' nests and high and excellent aircrafts. 18-20.
