वेदये न च संयुक्तान् शब्दस्पर्शरसानहम्।

'कौशल्ये! मेरा मन मोह से ग्रस्त हो रहा है। मेरा हृदय विदीर्ण हो रहा है। अपनी इन्द्रियों के संपर्क में रहते हुए भी मैं शब्द, स्पर्श और स्वाद जैसी चीज़ों का अनुभव नहीं कर पा रहा हूँ।
'Kausalye! My mind is being overcome by delusion. My heart is being torn. Despite being in contact with my senses, I am unable to perceive things like sound, touch, and taste.
