'तब मैं अकेला ही उस दम्पति को, जो अत्यन्त शोकग्रस्त थे, उस स्थान पर ले गया जहाँ उनका पुत्र मृत्यु से व्याकुल होकर भूमि पर मूर्छित पड़ा था। उसके समस्त अंग रक्त से लथपथ थे, मृगचर्म और वस्त्र बिखरे पड़े थे। मैंने ऋषि और उनकी पत्नी को उनके पुत्र के शरीर का स्पर्श कराया।॥27-28॥
‘Then I alone took the couple, who were in great grief, to the place where their son was lying unconscious on the ground, having been overcome by death. All his limbs were soaked in blood, deerskin and clothes were scattered about. I made the sage along with his wife touch the body of their son.॥27-28॥
