तत्पश्चात् अपनी प्रिय इच्छा की सिद्धि के संकल्प से उन्होंने यज्ञ की बची हुई आहुति खा ली और मन को वश में करके चुप हो गए। राजकुमार राम और विदेहनन्दिनी सीता भगवान विष्णु के सुन्दर मन्दिर में भगवान नारायण का ध्यान करते हुए, वहाँ कुशा की चटाई बिछाकर सो गए। ॥3-4॥
Thereafter, with the resolve to achieve his dear desire, he ate the remaining offerings of the yagna and, controlling his mind and becoming silent, Prince Rama and Videhanandini Sita slept in the beautiful temple of Lord Vishnu, meditating on Lord Narayan, on a nicely spread kusha mat there. ॥3-4॥
