'लक्ष्मण! यदि मैं क्रोधित हो जाऊँ, तो अकेले ही अपने बाणों से अयोध्यापुरी तथा सम्पूर्ण जगत् को निर्विघ्न बनाकर अपने वश में कर सकता हूँ; किन्तु बल और पराक्रम आध्यात्मिक लाभ प्राप्ति का कारण नहीं हैं (इसीलिए मैं ऐसा नहीं कर रहा हूँ।)॥ 25॥
'Laxmana! If I become angry, then I can single-handedly make Ayodhyapuri and the entire world free from obstacles with my arrows and take it under my control; but strength and valour are not the reason for achieving spiritual benefits (that is why I am not doing that.)॥ 25॥
