गंगा के दोनों तटों पर देवताओं के सैकड़ों पर्वतीय क्रीड़ास्थल हैं। उनके तटों पर देवताओं के अनेक उद्यान भी हैं। वे देवताओं की क्रीड़ा के लिए आकाश में भी विद्यमान हैं और वहाँ देवपद्मिनी के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं।
