वहाँ गायन, वादन और नृत्य के उत्सव बंद हो गए, सबका उत्साह चला गया, बाजार की दुकानें बंद रहीं, इन सब कारणों से उस समय अयोध्या नगरी जलहीन समुद्र के समान निर्जन दिखाई देने लगी।।37।।
The festivals of singing, playing and dancing stopped there, everyone's enthusiasm was gone, the shops in the market remained closed, because of all these reasons at that time the city of Ayodhya looked as deserted as a waterless sea. 37.
