आज्ञा पाकर लक्ष्मण अपने मित्रों से अनुमति लेकर इक्ष्वाकु वंश के गुरु वशिष्ठ के यहाँ गये और वनवास के लिए निश्चित रूप से तैयार होकर वहाँ से वे उत्तम अस्त्र-शस्त्र लेकर चले गये।
After getting the order, Lakshman went to the place of Vasishtha, the Guru of the Ikshvaku clan, after taking permission from his friends and being definitely ready for exile, he took those excellent weapons from there.
