क्रोधलोभौ विमोक्तव्यौ कर्तव्या तपसे मति:।
न भेतव्यं च भेतव्ये दु:खं नित्यमतो वनम्॥ २४॥
अनुवाद
वहाँ क्रोध और लोभ का त्याग करना पड़ता है, तपस्या में मन लगाना पड़ता है और जहाँ भय का स्थान है, वहाँ भय न करने की भी आवश्यकता है; इसलिए वन में सदैव दुःख और संताप रहता है॥ 24॥
‘There one has to give up anger and greed, one has to devote one's mind to austerity and where there is a place for fear, there is also the need to not be afraid; hence in the forest there is always misery and sorrow.॥ 24॥
