अतः स्त्री को चाहिए कि वह सदैव अपने पति की सेवा करे, उसके प्रति प्रिय रहे और उसके हित में सदैव तत्पर रहे। यही स्त्री का सनातन कर्तव्य है, जो वेदों और लोकों में विदित है। श्रुतियों और स्मृतियों में भी इसका उल्लेख है।॥27 1/2॥
‘Therefore, a woman should always serve her husband by being dear to him and always being ready to do good to him. This is the eternal duty of a woman, which is known in the Vedas and the world. This is also mentioned in the Shrutis and Smritis.॥ 27 1/2॥
