तब उस धर्मनिष्ठ वनवासी तपस्वी ने उन दोनों भाइयों से इस प्रकार कहा - 'रघुनन्दन! इस वन का मार्ग राक्षसों से भरा हुआ है - वे यहाँ उत्पात मचाते रहते हैं। इस विशाल वन में नाना प्रकार के नरभक्षी राक्षस और रक्तभक्षी हिंसक पशु निवास करते हैं ॥18-19॥
Then that devout forest-dwelling ascetic spoke to those two brothers like this - 'Raghunandan! The road to this forest is infested with demons – they keep on creating havoc here. In this vast forest, man-eating demons and blood-eating violent animals of various forms reside. 18-19॥
