पिता को प्रणाम करके विलाप कर रहे उन पराक्रमी भाइयों का उच्च स्वर सुनकर भरत के सैनिक किसी भय की आशंका से भयभीत हो गए। फिर उन्हें पहचानकर वे आपस में कहने लगे, 'भरत अवश्य ही श्री रामचन्द्र से मिले हैं। यह उन चारों भाइयों के विलाप का उच्च स्वर है, जो अपने दिवंगत पिता के लिए विलाप कर रहे हैं।'
Hearing the loud cries of those mighty brothers who were weeping after paying their obeisance to their father, Bharata's soldiers were frightened with the apprehension of some terror. Then, recognizing him, they said to each other, 'Bharata has surely met Shri Ramchandra. This is the loud sound of the weeping of those four brothers who are mourning for their father who has passed away.'
