क्योंकि समस्त दान-धर्म दाता और ग्रहणकर्ता के संयोग से ही संभव होते हैं; इसलिए तुम्हें विवाह के लिए आवश्यक शुभ कर्म करने चाहिए, उन्हें आमंत्रित करना चाहिए और अपनी कन्या का विवाह करके अपना धर्म निभाना चाहिए।॥12॥
'Because all the charity-dharmas are possible only when the donor and the recipient are in union; therefore you should perform the auspicious rites required for the wedding, invite them and perform your own dharma in the form of giving away your daughter in marriage.'॥ 12॥
