उत्तरे दिवसे ब्रह्मन् फल्गुनीभ्यां मनीषिण:।
वैवाहिकं प्रशंसन्ति भगो यत्र प्रजापति:॥ १३॥ |

| ब्रह्मन्! अगले दो दिन फाल्गुनी नामक नक्षत्रों से युक्त हैं। उनमें (पहले दिन पूर्वाफाल्गुनी है और) दूसरे दिन (अर्थात परसों) उत्तराफाल्गुनी नामक नक्षत्र होगा, जिसके देवता प्रजापति भग (और अर्यमा) हैं। बुद्धिमान पुरुष कहते हैं कि उस नक्षत्र में विवाह-संस्कार करना बहुत अच्छा होता है।॥13॥ |

| ‘Brahman! The next two days are filled with nakshatras called Phalguni. Among them (on the first day there is Purva Phalguni and) on the second day (i.e. the day after tomorrow) there will be a nakshatra called Uttara Phalguni, whose deity is Prajapati Bhag (and Aryama). Wise men say that it is very good to perform marriage ceremonies in that nakshatra.'॥ 13॥ |
