ततो हि मे भयं देव प्रसादं कर्तुुमर्हसि।
एवमुक्तस्तया राम सभयं भीतया तदा॥ ४॥
तामुवाच सहस्राक्षो वेपमानां कृताञ्जलिम्।
मा भैषी रम्भे भद्रं ते कुरुष्व मम शासनम्॥ ५॥
अनुवाद
"अतः हे देवराज! मैं उनसे बहुत भयभीत हूँ। कृपया मुझ पर कृपा कीजिए।" जब भयभीत रम्भा ने भयभीत होकर ऐसा कहा, तब सहस्र नेत्रों वाले इन्द्र ने हाथ जोड़कर खड़े हुए तथा भय से काँपते हुए रम्भा से कहा, "रम्भा! डरो मत। तुम्हारा कल्याण हो। कृपया मेरी आज्ञा मानो।"
"Therefore, O lord of gods, I am very afraid of them. Please be kind to me." When the frightened Rambha said this fearfully, the thousand-eyed Indra spoke to Rambha who was standing with folded hands and was trembling in fear, "Rambha, do not be afraid. May you be blessed. Please obey me." 4-5.
