बभूवास्य मनश्चिन्ता तपोऽपहरणे कृते।
नैवं क्रोधं गमिष्यामि न च वक्ष्ये कथंचन॥ १७॥

जब उनकी तपस्या भंग हुई, तब उनके मन में यह विचार आया कि 'अब से मैं किसी भी परिस्थिति में न तो क्रोध करूँगा और न कुछ बोलूँगा ॥ 17॥
When his tapasya was abducted, this thought came up in his mind that 'From now on I will neither get angry nor speak anything under any circumstances.॥ 17॥
