सब देवता और ऋषिगण आपस में विचार करने लगे, ‘कुशिकानंदन विश्वामित्र को महान ऋषि का पद प्राप्त करना चाहिए, यही उनके लिए उत्तम बात होगी।’ ॥16 1/2॥
All the gods and sages began to discuss among themselves, 'Kushikanandana Visvamitra should attain the position of a great sage, this would be the best thing for him.' ॥16 1/2॥
