उस समय मेनका अप्सरा भयभीत होकर हाथ जोड़कर काँपती हुई उनके सामने खड़ी हो गई। उसकी ओर देखकर कुशिकपुत्र विश्वामित्र ने मधुर वचनों से उसे विदा किया और स्वयं उत्तर पर्वत (हिमवान) पर चले गए।॥13 1/2॥
At that time, Menaka Apsara became frightened and stood before him with folded hands, trembling. Looking at her, Vishwamitra, the son of Kushika, bid her farewell with sweet words and himself went to the northern mountain (Himavan).॥ 13 1/2॥
