जटाबन्धनमन्यस्तु काष्ठरज्जुं मुदान्वित:।
यज्ञभाण्डमृषि: कश्चित् काष्ठभारं तथापर:॥ २४॥
औदुम्बरीं बृसीमन्य: स्वस्ति केचित् तदावदन्।
आयुष्यमपरे प्राहुर्मुदा तत्र महर्षय:॥ २५॥
ददुश्चैवं वरान् सर्वे मुनय: सत्यवादिन:। |

| किसी ने प्रसन्नतापूर्वक जटा बाँधने के लिए रस्सी दी, किसी ने लकड़ियाँ बाँधकर लाने के लिए डोरी दी। किसी ऋषि ने यज्ञपात्र दिया, किसी ने लकड़ी का बोझा दिया। किसी ने अंजीर की लकड़ी से बनी चौकी दी। कुछ लोग उस समय आशीर्वाद देने लगे - 'बच्चों! तुम दोनों का कल्याण हो।' एक अन्य महर्षि प्रसन्नतापूर्वक बोले - 'तुम्हारी आयु बढ़े।' इस प्रकार सभी सत्यनिष्ठ ऋषियों ने उन्हें नाना प्रकार के आशीर्वाद दिए। |

| Someone else happily gave a rope to tie the matted hair, someone else gave a string to tie firewood and bring it. One sage gave the sacrificial vessel, another offered a wooden load. Someone offered a stool made of fig wood. Some people started giving blessings at that time - 'Children! May you both be blessed.' Another Maharishi said happily - 'May your life be increased.' In this way all the truthful sages gave them various kinds of blessings. |
