| यद्यपि इस काव्य में वर्णित घटना बहुत समय पहले घटित हुई थी, तथापि इन दोनों बालकों ने इस सभा में प्रवेश करते ही मिलकर ऐसा सुन्दर भाव और माधुर्य से युक्त मधुर गीत गाया कि पूर्व की घटनाएँ वास्तविक प्रतीत होने लगीं - मानो वे अभी हमारी आँखों के सामने घटित हो रही हों॥18 1/2॥ |
