तौ राजपुत्रौ कात्स्न्र्येन धर्म्यमाख्यानमुत्तमम्।
वाचोविधेयं तत्सर्वं कृत्वा काव्यमनिन्दितौ॥ १२॥

| दोनों राजकुमार सबकी प्रशंसा के पात्र थे। उन्होंने धर्म के अनुकूल उत्तम उपाख्यानों से युक्त सम्पूर्ण काव्य में निपुणता प्राप्त कर ली थी। जब कभी ऋषियों, ब्राह्मणों और महात्माओं का समागम होता, तब वे दोनों मुनि बालक उनके बीच बैठकर एकाग्रचित्त होकर रामायण का गान करते थे॥12-13॥ |

| Both the princes were worthy of praise from everyone. They had mastered the entire poem containing excellent anecdotes in accordance with the Dharma. And whenever there was a gathering of sages, Brahmins and saints, then both the wise boys would sit amongst them and sing the Ramayana with concentrated mind.॥ 12-13॥ |
