उन्हीं दिनों चूलि नाम के एक प्रसिद्ध ऋषि, जो अत्यन्त तेजस्वी, सदाचारी एवं सदाचारी ऋषि (नैतिक ब्रह्मचारी) थे, वेदों के आधार पर तप का अनुष्ठान कर रहे थे (अथवा ब्रह्मचिंतन रूप तप में लगे हुए थे)। 11॥
In those days, a famous sage named Chuli, a very brilliant, virtuous and virtuous sage (an ethical celibate) was performing the ritual of penance based on Vedas (or was engaged in penance in the form of thinking about Brahma). 11॥
