उनके ऐसा कहने पर महातेजस्वी महर्षि विश्वामित्र ने विधि-विधानपूर्वक यज्ञ के दीक्षा समारोह में प्रवेश किया। दोनों राजकुमारों ने सावधानी से रात्रि व्यतीत करके प्रातःकाल उठकर स्नान आदि से शुद्ध होकर प्रातःकाल की संध्यावंदना की और उत्तम गायत्री मंत्र का नियमित जप करने लगे। जप पूरा होने पर उन्होंने अग्निहोत्र किया और बैठकर विश्वामित्रजी के चरणों की पूजा की। 30-32॥
On his saying this, the great and brilliant Maharishi Vishwamitra entered the initiation ceremony of the Yagya as per the rules and regulations. Both the princes, after spending the night with caution, woke up early in the morning, got purified by bathing etc., did morning evening prayers and started chanting the best Gayatri Mantra regularly. After completing the chanting, he performed Agnihotra and worshiped at the feet of Vishwamitraji while sitting. 30-32॥
