यज्ञ के पूर्ण होने पर अपने वंश की प्रतिष्ठा बढ़ाने वाले राजा दशरथ ने सारा राज्य दक्षिणा में होता को सौंप दिया, अयोध्या के पूर्व का राज्य अध्वर्यु को और दक्षिण का राज्य ब्रह्मा को दे दिया ॥43॥
