तं च राजा दशरथो यशस्काम: कृताञ्जलि:।
ऋष्यशृंगं द्विजश्रेष्ठं वरयिष्यति धर्मवित्॥ ८॥
यज्ञार्थं प्रसवार्थं च स्वर्गार्थं च नरेश्वर:।
लभते च स तं कामं द्विजमुख्याद् विशाम्पति:॥ ९॥
अनुवाद
“यश की इच्छा रखने वाले धर्मात्मा राजा दशरथ पुत्र और स्वर्ग के लिए हाथ जोड़कर दोनों लोकों के स्वामी महामुनि का यज्ञ करेंगे और प्रजापालक राजा उन महान ब्रह्मर्षि से अपना अभीष्ट प्राप्त करेंगे ॥8-9॥
“The virtuous King Dasharatha, desirous of fame, will, with folded hands, perform the sacrifice of the great sage of the two worlds, for the sake of his son and heaven, and the king who is the protector of the people will obtain his desired object from that great Brahmarshi. 8-9॥
