राजा रोमपाद से अनुमति लेकर ऋष्यश्रृंग अपनी पत्नी सहित वहाँ से चले गए। उस समय पराक्रमी राजा रोमपाद और दशरथ ने हाथ जोड़कर एक-दूसरे का आलिंगन किया और एक-दूसरे को नमस्कार किया। तत्पश्चात, अपने मित्र रघुकुलपुत्र दशरथ से विदा लेकर वहाँ से चले गए।
