तत्पश्चात् मित्रतावश राजा रोमपाद ने अत्यंत प्रसन्न मन से शास्त्रानुसार राजा दशरथ का विशेष पूजन किया तथा मुनि कुमार ऋष्यश्रृंग को राजा दशरथ के साथ अपनी मित्रता का वृत्तांत सुनाया तथा राजा का आदर भी किया।
