परन्तु सौदास जिनकी पूजा करता था, वे सम्पूर्ण जगत के गुरु महादेव शिव की अवज्ञा का पाप सहन न कर सके। उन्होंने सौदास को राक्षस योनि में जाने का शाप दे दिया। तब विनायकलकोविद ब्राह्मण ने हाथ जोड़कर गौतम से कहा ॥34-35॥
But those whom Saudasa worshiped could not bear the sin of disobeying Mahadev Shiva, the Guru of the entire world. He cursed Saudasa to go into the womb of a demon. Then the Vinayakalakovid Brahmin folded his hands and said to Gautam. 34-35॥
