भूत्वा हि जगतो नाथो ह्यनाथ इव मे सुत:।
गदामुद्यम्य यो याति किमन्यद् भागधेयत:॥ ४॥

मेरा पुत्र, जो सम्पूर्ण जगत का स्वामी था, हाथ में गदा लेकर अनाथ की भाँति रणभूमि की ओर पैदल ही चला जा रहा था। इसे भाग्य के अतिरिक्त और क्या कहा जा सकता है?॥4॥
My son, who was the lord of the whole world, was walking on foot to the battlefield like an orphan with a mace in his hand. What else can this be called except fate?॥ 4॥
