महाराज! सरस्वती के निकटवर्ती तट पर प्रसिद्ध तपस्वी वलखिल्य, अश्मकुत्त, दन्तोलुखलि, प्रसंख्यान, जो वायु पर रहते थे, जल पर निर्वाह करते थे, पत्ते खाते थे, नाना प्रकार के तप करते थे और वेदियों पर शयन करते थे, वे सब नदियों में श्रेष्ठ सरस्वती की शोभा उसी प्रकार बढ़ा रहे थे, जैसे देवता गंगाजी की शोभा बढ़ाते हैं।
Maharaj! On the nearby bank of Saraswati, the famous ascetics Valkhilya, Ashmakutta1, Dantolukhali2, Prasankhyan3, who lived on air, survived on water, ate leaves, were engaged in various disciplines and slept on altars. They were enhancing the beauty of Saraswati, the best of all rivers, in the same way as the gods enhance the beauty of Gangaji.
