‘त्रित यज्ञ करने में कुशल है, वेदों का पारंगत विद्वान है, अतः वह और भी बहुत सी गौएँ प्राप्त करेगा। अभी तो हम दोनों मिलकर इन गौओं को भगा दें और त्रित हमसे अलग होकर जहाँ चाहे वहाँ चला जाए।’॥22-23 1/2॥
‘Trit is skilled in conducting sacrifices, Trit is an accomplished scholar of the Vedas, so he will acquire many more cows. For now, both of us should together drive away these cows and Trit should separate from us and go wherever he wishes.’॥ 22-23 1/2॥
