चक्रुश्चैवं तथा राजन् भ्रातरस्त्रय एव च।
तथा ते तु परिक्रम्य याज्यान् सर्वान् पशून् प्रति॥ १७॥
याजयित्वा ततो याज्याँल्लब्ध्वा तु सुबहून् पशून्।
याज्येन कर्मणा तेन प्रतिगृह्य विधानत:॥ १८॥
प्राचीं दिशं महात्मान आजग्मुस्ते महर्षय:। |

| राजन! ऐसा सोचकर तीनों भाइयों ने वैसा ही किया। वे पशु प्राप्ति के उद्देश्य से सभी यजमानों के पास गए और उनसे विधिपूर्वक यज्ञ करवाकर उस यज्ञ के द्वारा बहुत से पशु प्राप्त किए। तत्पश्चात् वे महर्षि पूर्व दिशा की ओर चल पड़े। 17-18 1/2। |

They went to all the Yajmans with the purpose of obtaining animals and after getting them to perform the Yajna as per the rules, they obtained many animals through that Yajna.
