मुखात् प्रभूतं क्षतजं विमुञ्चन्।
पपात नागो धरणीधराभ:
क्षितिप्रकम्पाच्चलितो यथाद्रि:॥ २५॥
अनुवाद
गदा के प्रहार से हाथी का माथा फट गया और वह पर्वत के समान विशाल हाथी अचानक चीखता हुआ और मुंह से रक्त उगलता हुआ नीचे गिर पड़ा, मानो भूकंप के कारण कोई पर्वत गिर गया हो।
The elephant's forehead was split open by the blow of the mace, and the huge elephant, as big as a mountain, suddenly fell down shrieking and vomiting blood from its mouth, as if a mountain had collapsed due to an earthquake.
