उस विशाल हाथी ने जोर से गर्जना करते हुए अचानक धृष्टद्युम्न के स्वर्ण-सज्जित रथ को उसके घोड़ों और सारथि सहित कुचल डाला और उसे अपनी सूँड़ से उठाकर भूमि पर पटक दिया।
Roaring loudly, that huge elephant suddenly crushed the golden-decorated chariot of Dhrishtadyumna along with its horses and charioteer and lifted it up with its trunk and threw it on the ground.
