जिस प्रकार इन्द्र ने अपने शक्तिशाली वज्रों के प्रहार से पर्वतों को नष्ट कर दिया था, उसी प्रकार पाण्डवों में ज्येष्ठ ने जिस भी सेना की ओर अग्रसर होते, उसे अपने बाणों से मार गिराया।
