| इसी प्रकार जब महाधनुर्धर द्रोणाचार्य युद्धभूमि में ब्रह्मा का ध्यान करते हुए अपने समस्त अस्त्र-शस्त्र त्यागकर बैठे थे, तब द्रुपदपुत्र धृष्टद्युम्न ने उन्हें बहुत से बाणों से आच्छादित कर दिया और अपनी तलवार उठाकर उनका सिर काट डाला। संजय! इस प्रकार ये दोनों वीर एक-दूसरे को मारने का अवसर पाकर विशेष विश्वासघातपूर्वक मारे गए। |
