नृवर शरवराग्रैस्ताडयन्तोऽभ्यरुन्धन्।
नवजलदसवर्णैर्हस्तिभिस्तानुदीयु-
र्गिरिशिखरनिकाशैर्भीमवेगै: कुलिन्दा:॥ ४॥ |

| हे नरेश्वर! कृपाचार्य आदि आपके महारथी वीरों ने अपने उत्तम बाणों द्वारा आक्रमण करके पाण्डव पक्ष के उन ग्यारह महारथियों को आगे बढ़ने से रोक दिया। तत्पश्चात् कुलिन्ददेश के योद्धाओं ने नवीन मेघों के समान काले, पर्वत शिखरों के समान विशाल तथा भयंकर वेग वाले हाथियों द्वारा कौरव योद्धाओं पर आक्रमण किया। |
