शरान् नानाविधान् मुक्त्वा त्रासयिष्यामि शात्रवान्।
आकर्णमुक्तैरिषुभिर्यमराष्ट्रविवर्धनै:॥ ३१॥
भूमिशोभां करिष्यामि पातितै रथकुञ्जरै:। |

| ‘मैं नाना प्रकार के बाणों द्वारा शत्रु सैनिकों को भयभीत कर दूँगा। मैं धनुष को कान तक खींचकर छोड़े गए यमराष्ट्रवर्धक बाणों द्वारा रथों और हाथियों को नष्ट करके युद्धभूमि की शोभा बढ़ाऊँगा।॥31 1/2॥ |

| ‘I will frighten the enemy soldiers by shooting various kinds of arrows. I will enhance the beauty of the battlefield by destroying chariots and elephants with the Yamarashtravardhak arrows shot by stretching the bow till the ear.॥ 31 1/2॥ |
