अर्जुन! जो सारथिपुत्र आपको ढूँढ़ने के लिए रणभूमि में सम्पूर्ण दिशाओं में घूमता था और जो आपका पता बता दे, उसे हाथी के आकार के छः बैल देने की इच्छा रखता था, वही दुष्टबुद्धि वाला सारथिपुत्र क्या आपके द्वारा कंकपत्रयुक्त तीखे बाणों से मारा गया हुआ पृथ्वी पर सो रहा है? आज उस सारथिपुत्र को रणभूमि में मारकर क्या आपने मेरा यह परम प्रिय कार्य पूर्ण कर लिया है?॥30-31॥
Arjun! That son of a charioteer who roamed all the directions and sub-directions in the battlefield to find you and wanted to give six bulls the size of an elephant to the one who could tell him your whereabouts, is that same evil-minded son of a charioteer sleeping on the ground after being killed by you with sharp arrows bearing the leaves of Kank leaves? Today by killing that son of a charioteer in the battlefield, have you accomplished this most beloved task of mine?॥30-31॥
