चुक्रुशुश्च नरव्याघ्र यथा व्याघ्रा नरोत्तमा:।
तेषां तु क्रोशतामासीद् भीतानां रणमूर्धनि॥ ५५॥
धावतां च ततो राजंस्त्रस्तानां च समन्तत:।
आर्तनादो महांस्तत्र भूतानामिव सम्प्लवे॥ ५६॥ |

| हे सिंहपुरुषों! वे महारथी व्याघ्रों के समान गर्जना कर रहे थे। हे राजन! युद्ध के मुहाने पर भयभीत होकर चिल्लाते हुए सब दिशाओं में भागते हुए उन सैनिकों का महान आर्तनाद प्रलयकाल में समस्त प्राणियों के आर्तनाद के समान प्रतीत हो रहा था। |
