तं शल्य: प्राह मा कर्ण गृहीथा: पार्थिवोत्तमम्।
गृहीतमात्रो हत्वा त्वां मा करिष्यति भस्मसात्॥ ५३॥
अनुवाद
उस समय राजा शल्य ने कहा, 'कर्ण! तुम इस महाबली राजा युधिष्ठिर को मत छूना, अन्यथा वे तुम्हें पकड़ते ही मार डालेंगे और अपनी क्रोधाग्नि से तुम्हें जलाकर भस्म कर देंगे।'
At that time King Shalya said, 'Karna! Do not touch this great king Yudhishthira, otherwise as soon as he catches hold of you he will kill you and burn you to ashes with the fire of his anger.'
